Guests Frequently Asked Questions

What is your Cancellation Policy?

48 Hours notice from event time for 100% refund. Less than 48 hours receive 50% refund or complementary change of tour date. Less than 24 hours notice or "no show" receive 0% refund.

How much food is on each tour?

There is definitely more than enough on the Finer Things and the Seaside Tour. We would highly recommend not eating in advance of any tour.

Do you accommodate vegetarians and/or allergies?

For sure, Chefs can accommodate almost all allergies, as along as you notify us 48 hours in advance of the tour you (or person with allergy) will be taking.

What’s the difference between the two dinner tours?

The main difference between the two tours is the selected restaurants and location we visit. The Seaside Tour focuses on local favorites in Woody Point while the Finer Things Tour focuses on local, fine dining in Norris Point and Rocky Harbour. They are both fantastic and have received equal interest so rest assured there is no bad decision.

How long are we at each restaurant?

On the dinner tours we are at each venue for approximately 40 minutes, with exception of the main course; where we dine for 75 minutes. The restaurants are always ready for our groups with the food and wine, so there’s nothing rushed about the experience.

How do we travel between restaurants?

If it's raining your guide will have umbrellas for everyone but we do recommend that you dress for the weather just in case. We have a shuttle for the Finer Things and Seaside Food Tour that moves guests between locations, feel free to wear your dancing shoes!

What is your minimum and maximum group size?

Finer Things Tour requires a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 8.

Seaside Food Tour requires a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 10.

Private custom tours can go with as few as 1 person to as many as 40 people with enough advance notice.

How much does a tour cost?

The Seaside Food Tour is $100.00/person plus $35.00 for the optional wine/drink pairings, plus tax and tip. The Finer Things Tour is $130.00 plus $50.00 for the optional wine pairings plus tax and tip. This includes the food, private local guide, gratuities for the restaurant servers and pick-up drop-off shuttle service. Compared to a 3 course dinner at any restaurant we visit, this is outstanding value! Note: water taxi is not included in the price.

Are there group rates and tour buyout rates available?

Yes. Groups of 8 or more full price bookings are entitled to a reduced rate, please contact for details. It is also possible to buyout the tour with less than 8 people to ensure your party will be the only people on tour. Contact us for details.

What time and where do the tours start?

The Finer Things Tour starts at 5:30 pm at the Neddies Harbour Inn, but has shuttle pick up between 5:00 - 5:25 pm.

The Seaside Food Tour departs from Bonne Bay Inn, Woody Point at 6:00 pm.

There is an option for the Bonne Bay water taxi service to move from either side of the bay for an additional fee.

How long are the tours?

The dinner tours are about 3 hours, but guests often stay at the last venue for a few more drinks and live music.

Can I come on a tour if I don’t drink alcohol?

Definitely, there will always be a non-alcoholic drink for you to choose from. Also, the food is too good to miss!

Do you have a hotel pick-up service?

On our Seaside tour your guide will meet guests at the Bonne Bay Inn, unless you pre-reserve the water taxi in which we will pick you up at your accommodations and transfer to the water taxi for 5PM and return home at the end of the evening.

The Finer Things Tour has a shuttle pickup that we arrange with guests at least 24 hours in advance. The tour guide will meet the you at the first location the Neddies Harbour Inn.

Is there parking at the meeting venue?

There is self-parking available at the Neddies Harbour Inn and Bonne Bay Inn. Additionally, we do not suggest driving if you will be consuming alcohol. Most accommodations are a short walk or taxi ride from our final food stop.

Is there a minimum age limit on your food tours?

We keep food tours to adults 19 years of age or older. We can arrange private tours for families that would like to include their children below the age of maturity.

Is there a dress code?

No, restaurants in Gros Morne will cater to everything from hiking wear to, fancy dinner wear. The most common is smart casual. Guests should wear comfortable footwear for walking between restaurants in the communities and dress weather appropriate.
